Fashion Island Is Adding 184 New Luxury Residences: Construction is progressing on a major expansion of the Villas at Fashion Island, where an 842 space parking structure has been removed to make way for 184 new luxury residences. The five story development recently completed its foundation and will bring the community to 708 total residences when finished. Located at 800 San Clemente Drive, the project adds a significant amount of new housing to Newport Center, where opportunities for large scale residential development are increasingly limited.

One of New York's Most Famous Bakeries Is Coming to Newport Beach: New York City's Levain Bakery is opening its first Orange County location at Fashion Island in early September. The bakery became famous for its oversized six ounce cookies and has grown from a small Manhattan shop into a nationally recognized brand with locations across the country. Newport Beach will now join New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and other major markets with its own Levain location.
